Class Goals
|
As
a class, we have created personal and learning goals to help create a
positive learning environment. The class as a whole works together
to help each other meet these goals. Each year new goals are created to
match the needs of new students.
- We will make safe choices.
- We will not hurt each other.
- We will be good listeners.
- We will always try our best
- We will follow directions the first
time.
- We will raise our hands and wait our
turns.

Homework
Starting
the first full week of school, your child will be assigned homework
Monday through Thursday. He or she is responsible for completing and
returning the assignment to school each day. If for some reason the
homework cannot be completed, it may be turned in the next day. Please
allow your child to complete the work on his or her own but adult
supervision is encouraged and at times may be necessary. Depending on
the difficulty of the homework, students may need added assistance.
The purpose of homework in first grade is to get students into a nightly
routine, practice skills we are learning in class and give the students
practice work they can complete almost or completely independently.
