- We believe all
middle school students can learn and succeed.
We will establish high standards of learning in which all students
will achieve proficiency. The middle
school environment will ensure that the unique academic, emotional, social
and physical needs of students in grades six, seven and eight are met. We will work collaboratively with
colleagues, students, parents and the community to achieve these high
academic standards.
- BELIEFS & EXPECTATIONS - 1.
Berlin Middle School will achieve 90% proficiency on
NYS ELA and Math assessments 2.
Gaps in student achievement connected to
socioeconomic and special education needs will be reduced 3.
All students will successfully complete every course
and grade level and will demonstrate proficiency on local assessments 4.
We will create an environment where students are
welcomed and encouraged to be part of the middle school community 5.
