General Information
The Berlin Central School District announced a free and reduced price meal policy for the district’s school children. To determine if you are eligible for the free or reduced policy that local school officials have adopted, please look at the family eligibility criteria.
If your family is eligible to participate, please fill out and return the 2011-2012 Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals/Milk to the Business Office of the Berlin Central School District.
The district utilizes the Nutrikids Point of Sale System for payment and meal tracking. We encourage you to use the system; however payment can still be made by cash or check. To use the Nutrikids system, please go to www.mynutrikids.com to set up your account. You will need your child’s ID number and school zip code which is 12022. If you choose to send payment in with your child who attends BES, fill out the pre-payment form and make sure the money is handed directly to your child’s teacher, even if it is on a daily basis. If your child attends the MS/HS they should give their money directly to the cashier.

The district has contracted Prestige Services as our food management company. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Shanahan, Food Services Manager at (518) 658-2515, ext. 209 or cafemgr@berlincentral.org.
