Geography of the United States

This half year course will explore the geography of the United States.  We will first examine what geography is, define terms and identify physical features.  We will also explore the climates of the world with regards to the United States.  Next we will examine the various regions of the United States to see how each is unique and makes them entities unto them selves.

There will be weekly quizzes on the various subjects with a test here and there.  There will be a project of developing travel plans across the United States with an eye on what to see as one travels, how to get there quickly and with the most enjoyment along the way.  There will be state studies done by the students so that the class will be exposed to as much information on the individual states as practical.

A final exam will be administered at the end of the course.
